I take the Mazda Miata to its first autocross of the year. I bring Jose along, who planned on driving his Acura Integra until he found lug nut problems, after which I let him codrive my car.

I have my very first experience at a race track. I travel to Putnam Park with David and Collin and work the NASA event as a volunteer, getting a behind-the-scenes look at how track days and races are run.

I say goodbye to friends who are graduating on time from the U of I with a BBQ party. I say goodbye to some more friends at Guidos. Finally, I attend the graduation ceremonies.

I put on my “Easy Does It” Rally, hoping to put on a relaxing rally for the rally teams and myself. However, thanks to the torrential rains, my rally was anything but easygoing. ap 26
